Heather Packard has been with Mass Audubon since March 2022 organizing their grassroots, statewide advocacy volunteer program, Climate Champions. She is also an active member if First Parish Concord and a member of UU Mass Action. She holds a master’s degree in Nonprofit Management and her bachelors was in Biology. Heather started her climate story while serving in Peace Corps Senegal in the 1990s and witnessing the Sahara Desert’s expansion south in real time. She loves hiking and camping with her family, which is her inspiration for her climate action.
