Together, we have spent the better part of this year exploring, discovering, and articulating our First Parish Identity. You’ve painted a picture of our envisioned future, establishing a strong foundation for the Search Committee and developing a strong message for minister candidates. Thank you! (CLICK HERE to download the Values, Mission, and Vision statement.)
You’ve also provided a strong direction for making some important decisions as we move forward.
Now we want to ensure that our church is well positioned to successfully live our values, fulfill our mission and achieve our vision.
After the service on Sunday, March 28th, the Transition Team reviewed the First Parish Mission and Vision statements which are the essence of our envisioned future.
Chris Andrysiak, representing the Strategic Planning Team, highlighted the many resources and strengths we can apply to achieving our Vision. He also shared the challenges we could face and possible actions for us to consider as we go forward.
A copy of the presentation can be viewed HERE and a recording of Sunday’s session can be found HERE.
Additional presentations will be offered via ZOOM on:
- Thursday, April 1 at 7:30pm
- Tuesday, April 6 at 8:00pm

In the month of April, several round tables will be offered to discuss key questions First Parish needs to consider as we chart our path to the future.
During the next few months, the Transition Team will be summarizing the major messages and learning achieved through the past three years of your thoughtful work, discussions, sharing and learning. We will provide a written report and presentation that celebrates all you have achieved, captures the evolution of our learning and growth and identifies opportunities for future focus. We think this summary will be interesting to you, will serve our Search Committee well and will benefit ministerial candidates.
