Spring Forward Conversations
Building on our momentum
Mapping our future

What a year it’s been! The Reverends Kit & Nate have brought great energy, creativity, and excitement to First Parish. The church is buzzing on Sunday mornings. The choir loft is overflowing and beautiful music spills forth each week. The church calendar is packed with engaging offerings that range from deepening spirituality to exploring issues of social and environmental justice.

But it is time to re-focus on our long-term Strategic Plan, building on the momentum of this last year and on the groundwork we laid in the previous few years. A Strategic Plan will be our roadmap to becoming the invigorated and impactful church that we envision. It will guide our major decisions, allowing us to prioritize our resources, to align us to a common plan, and to focus our energy on key choices.

What do we need from you?

We need you to sign up now for one of our Spring Forward Conversations. Through the month of May we’ll be gathering at members’ homes in small groups to discuss what we’re excited about here at First Parish, what we’d like to see FPL try, and what would make us proud of our church.

We will explore several questions, such as:

  • Describe a recent First Parish moment that you found particularly moving, exciting, or engaging.
  • What’s one thing that you’d like FPL to try that would deepen your engagement?
  • What would you like to see us do to achieve our vision of being “a source of hope and positive impact in our communities, our region and beyond”.

If you would prefer to provide input online, please fill out this short survey by June 1st.

Your input will help determine FPL’s plans for the future and will shape the Church for years to come! Thank you!
