The Safe Congregation Task Force has been meeting monthly during the pandemic, taking guidance from federal and state public health entities, as well as the UCC and UU national organizations. We are heartened by the remarkable efficacy of the various vaccines, and vigilant around the ongoing risks during this transitional period.

The church buildings will remain closed for the spring. During this time parishioners are encouraged to utilize our lovely outdoor spaces – the colorful chairs in front of the sanctuary, the patio of the Stearns room, and the playground behind the stone church. If you wish to make use of one of those spaces, please register ahead of time with Silvia Dieckow (silvia@fplincoln.org) so as to avoid any overlap.

We are planning and looking forward to some form of in-person worship beginning in the fall, with the understanding that the future can be hard to predict. Toward that end, we will be sending out a survey to parishioners in June to help ascertain people’s anticipated wishes and concerns around in-person activities.
