Please join FPL’s Racial Justice Advocates for a “watch party” as we gather together to see the livestreaming of the Unveiling of the Embrace memorial to Martin Luther King and Coretta Scott King on Boston Common on Friday, January 13 at 12:30.

The memorial commemorates the legacies of Dr. Martin Luther King and Coretta Scott King and the civil rights leaders who worked alongside them in Boston. The live streaming by NBC Boston that starts at 1:00.  From 12:30-1, we will join together for community and conversation. Bring a sandwich if you would like; tea, cookies and coffee will be provided.

The Embrace, a 20-foot high, multi-ton bronze sculpture of intertwined arms celebrates both the civil rights movement and the love shared between two people who were front and center in the fight for racial justice and equal. For more information CLICK HERE.
