Part 2: Sunday, June 4th After Worship

Each week at First Parish we collectively declare that “We go forth… to affirm each person’s dignity.” How do we live into this commitment when it comes to our transgender and nonbinary members, friends, and neighbors — especially in our current national climate which has seen a record breaking surge in anti-trans legislation?

Join us for a two part series led by Sarah Klockowski. Together we will seek to better understand what it means to be transgender and/or nonbinary, including what these terms mean. If this conversation is new to you, please know you are welcome! Feel free to send along any questions you have in advance to sarah@fplincoln.org.

We will also begin to think about practical steps we as a church can take to welcome and affirm trans and nonbinary people into the full life of our congregation.
