Join us after worship to celebrate
First Parish’s Partnership with
Bay Cove Human Services
and Its Founder, Dan Boynton!
You are invited to a special meeting in the Sanctuary following worship to learn about the work of Bay Cove Human Services from its President and CEO, Bill Sprague, and Bay Cove leaders David Hirschberg and Nancy Mahan. Following the meeting, we will honor our guests and Bay Cove’s creator, our own Dan Boynton, at a festive reception on the church lawn.
As we consider possibilities for meaningful Action, individual and collective, we look to Bay Cove as an organization which has worked for decades on the front lines of the struggle for social justice, and one with which FPL and its members have been privileged to partner in a variety of ways. We look forward to learning from the experience and vision of an organization which commits itself to the service of all and to affirming the value of every person.
This event is co-sponsored by the Racial Justice Advocates and the Outreach Committee.
PLEASE NOTE: Indoor attendance continues to be limited by Safe Church protocols. In-person attendees will need to register in advance. Use the registration link for worship on April 24th. The special meeting will be streamed on Zoom using the same link as Sunday worship.
Registration is not required for the outdoor reception. We encourage Zoom attendees who live nearby to join us following the meeting.
THIS WILL BE A SPECIAL DAY AT FIRST PARISH! WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU!
