As part of the town of Lincoln’s celebration of Pride this June, FPL is hosting a community screening of the documentary Come See Me in the Good Light. The poignant film, released last year, follows the nonbinary poet Andrea Gibson’s final year of living with cancer, celebrates the tender queer love story of Andrea and their wife Megan Falley, and as Sundance put it: “The film explores death — and what it means to truly live — with intense honesty, sensitivity, and unexpected humor.” The film runs 1 hr 44 min, followed by optional discussion. Note: the film is rated R, recommended for adults and mature teens.
