SERIES OUTLINE

JANUARY 10, 2022
First invitation: DON’T WAIT
Embracing the truth of constant change encourages us to not wait to deeply engage with life.

FEBRUARY 7, 2022
Second invitation: WELCOME EVERYTHING, PUSH NOTHING AWAY
Openness to paradox and contradiction is the basis for a skillful response to life.

MARCH 7, 2022
Third Invitation BRING YOUR WHOLE SELF TO THE EXPERIENCE
We like to project a positive self-image, yet we all experience helplessness, fear, anger, ignorance. Wholeness does not mean perfection.

APRIL 4, 2022
Fourth invitation: FIND A PLACE IN THE MIDDLE OF THINGS
and Fifth invitation: CULTIVATE DON’T KNOW MIND
Suppose rest is a choice – a choice to be alert, to bring your attention fully to this moment. A “don’t know mind” is characterized by curiosity, surprise, and wonder. It is an invitation to empty our minds and open our hearts.

FORMAT AND EXPECTATIONS

The group will be limited to no more than 12, no fewer than 10. This is not a therapy session but rather an opportunity for spiritual growth and exploration. Prior to each meeting, we will read all the chapters related to the “invitation” at hand, try the practices in our daily life, then come together to explore. Each of the monthly meaningful conversation groups will include support, education, perspective shifts, shared stories, short practices, and a sacred pause from all the external noise in our current world. Registrants will commit to regular attendance. There will be no individual charge, although donations would be welcome.

For further information and registration, contact Kim Buell at kim_buell@hotmail.com.

Registration is encouraged by DECEMBER 20, 2021; final deadline, January 3, 2022.

Space is limited to 12 and no fewer than 10. Regular participation is expected.
