On his deathbed, St. David (the patron saint of Wales) is said to have murmured:  “Keep the faith, and do the little things that you have heard and seen me do.”  Do the little things.  A kind of “household spirituality,” some Celtic scholars have dubbed it. One of the gifts of the Celtic tradition was their acknowledgement of the sacred throughout the grit and scruff of their ordinary daily lives. As we try to center ourselves, to draw strength and to heal, in the wake of the pandemic and in a world at war, what nourishment can we find in gifts from the Celtic spiritual tradition?
