Last Sunday Rev. Darrell Goodwin spoke of how we are connected with the 600 plus UCC churches in the southeastern New England region and what it meant to be part of that extended family. On Sunday I’ll consider some of the “family members” that have gone before us as I dig into the history of the First Parish in Lincoln, with particular attention to its connections with slavery or the New England slave trade. This is part of our “Racial Justice Journey” which you so courageously embarked upon at Annual Meeting last June; I’m grateful to the careful and creative leadership of your lay leaders who are helping to guide us through books, film and field trips this year as we try to learn and grow, about ourselves, and our history.  Ray Shepard will be giving the Time for All Ages.

Worship Leader: Rev. Jenny Rankin
Deacon of the Month: Doug Crosby

We thank all of our deacons, staff and other lay leaders who have helped to make this worship possible. We’ll wear masks, observe social distancing and there will be no congregational singing.
