Calling all parents (and anyone with children in their lives!) to participate in our (second annual) collective summer spiritual parenting read! Our hope is to encourage community conversations and resources around raising children with a wide, resilient spiritual grounding rooted in values of love and justice. This year, we’re reading Bless This Mess: A Modern Guide to Faith and Parenting in a Chaotic World, co-written by UCC Minister Rev. Molly Baskette and child psychologist Dr. Ellen O’Donnell. Chapter titles include topics like “How to Fight-and Forgive,” “How Much is Enough? How to Talk to Kids about Money and Stuff,” “Sabbath: How to Make Every Day Holy” and “The Beauty of Bodies.”
