The UUA’s Beyond Categorical Thinking workshop is a vital part of our congregation’s and Search Committee’s preparation for calling a new settled minister to First Parish. We invite all parishioners and church leaders to take part in this interactive virtual workshop, which will be held in two 1 ½- hour sessions, starting at 9 AM, with a 30-minute break in-between on Saturday morning, November 13th.
In this period of transition, we have come together to agree that affirming the dignity of all peoples is one of our most important expressed values. This workshop, led by an experienced UU facilitator, will give us an opportunity to explore the ways we can become a more welcoming community.
We urge you to fill out this “Concerns and Benefits” form in advance of the workshop. Your anonymous responses will be submitted to our facilitator to help him better understand our congregation.
